PH16TC, 2.5mm Electrode

2.5mm 16TC, a smooth running, twin coated (that's 2 layers of flux) low hydrogen electrode developed for all positional welding (except vertical down), using AC or DC power sources. Arc stabilising elements are concentrated in the inner coating of the electrode for significantly improved arc stability on low open circuit AC welding machines. Used for joining steel up to 4mm thick. They are good for making it easy to weld using low hydrogen rods which can otherwise be tricky to start and sticky to weld with. Can also be used on older AC machines.
